Tallahassee Painting is focused on one market: Tallahassee and the North Florida communities around it. We don't maintain offices in these communities — we route project requests to painting professionals who work in them.
Tallahassee
The core of our service area, from downtown and Midtown out to the northeast and southwest corners of Leon County. Housing stock ranges from 1920s cottages to brand-new construction, so painting projects here vary enormously.
Killearn, Killearn Estates & Killearn Lakes
Established northeast neighborhoods with mature tree canopy. Heavy shade means more mildew staining on north-facing walls, and many homes here have significant wood trim and fascia. HOA color guidelines are common, so exterior projects often need approval before work starts.
SouthWood
A large planned community on the southeast side with newer homes, porches and plenty of painted trim, columns and shutters. Interior repaints often mean upgrading builder-grade flat paint to something more washable.
Midtown & Betton Hills
Older, character-heavy homes close to town. Plaster and older drywall, layered paint, original wood windows and detailed trim mean prep work carries more of the project than raw square footage suggests.
Buck Lake & Bull Run area
Family neighborhoods on the east side, largely built from the 1990s onward. Common projects: full interior repaints, cabinet refinishing and exterior refreshes where sun exposure has faded the sunny elevations.
Lake Jackson & north Tallahassee
A mix of lakeside properties, older ranch homes and newer subdivisions. Wood siding and trim near the water needs closer attention to moisture and rot before painting.
Woodville & Crawfordville
South of town toward Wakulla County. More acreage, outbuildings, decks, fences and metal roofing, plus a fair amount of wood siding that benefits from regular refinishing.
Havana & Quincy
Gadsden County communities north and west of Tallahassee, with older downtown-adjacent homes, brick, and light commercial storefronts alongside newer residential builds.
Monticello
East in Jefferson County, known for historic homes with detailed wood trim and porches. These properties often need careful scraping, priming and repair as part of any exterior repaint.
